I wondered if the rear subframe bushings might be the culprit for your issues at speed.

Should be almost identical sedan to wagon, except for the SLS.

I've not done this job but I need to, hopefully someone can chime in with their experience. I'm especially wondering the best methods w/o a spring compressor and what DIY bushing pullers people have used.
