...had a similar problem last year on my 190E 2.6. It turned out to be the fuel accumulator. Search for a couple of posts by me on the subject to learn about the simple tests I ran to isolate the problem.

I have yet to saw it apart to do the failure analysis I mentioned, but maybe next week.
