just purchased a NW no rust 1992 400E sedan with 180K from the son of the original owner. Silver over black leather. Title was still in dads name lol.. I'm sure it's a familiar story dad bought it new and drove it for close to 20 years. Then it was passed on to the son for the remaining. then I got it..
Ive owned a few pre owned Mercs and know enough to ask the forum about must do new buyer maintenence.
It just had a new ignition tumbler installed recently just before purchase. The old one locked up which ended up being a nightmare and it sat for close to a year before purchase.
