After 8 months, I finally had my road bike serviced and am back riding! Thought I would be huffing and puffing all over the place since I've been out of it for so long, but it looks like the break, weight loss, lifting, running, spin one day a week, and some HIIT classes have actually improved my speeds and hill climbing. I destroyed my previous personal best on my first outing - 15 miles in ~50 minutes, including having to wait for some lights to change and a small warm up to ease back into things!
Awww yeah, feeling good! Anyone else here started to get back on the bike again now that the weather is nice?
