I have two 116's - one is a rusty 300SD with a great engine. Has been my daily driver for a long while but the chassis is rusty, the clearcoat is peeling the windshield is leaking, etc. The other is a 450SE with an engine knock. Fun engine to drive but just not economical enough and I've always been a big fan of the OM617.95. Have been trying to sell it as a project but it hasn't generated any interest. So, I'm hoping to find somebody within reasonable distance of Frederick, MD that I could drive the cars to to have the drivetrain swapped. I figure it should be relatively straightforward since I have two 116's and thus any parts necessary, but this sort of thing is beyond my skill level.
