I've done all my own brake work. To disable the SBC, make sure key is NOT in ignition, pull up on slide lock of black multi-pin connector at back of SBC unit, remove connector and position connector off to the side. Do the brake work, and reconnect black connector before starting vehicle. It's as simple as that.
