om603 low top end

I took off the alda to fix the leaking seals months back on my 86 sdl but I made the mistake of turning the whole bottom nut and alda together several turns until I finally gave up and broke the nut loose the proper way. Is it possible that this threw off the pumps max fuel calibration? Its acting like its not getting enough fuel at higher speeds. It has great low end but doesnt pull the way it used too up hills and there is no smoke if I floor it.
