Oh ok, i thought it was 5100. But anyway I got the alda to work and can attest to the fact that a properly adjusted alda is just as fast as no alda, but you get all the protection of having the alda circuit connected, which is why I went through all this trouble.
What I did first today was pull the alda off and apply pressure to it to see what it was actually doing, lo and behold it was actually working opposite of how it should. The problem was that I had adjusted it so far rich that the two halves of the diaphragm were able to separate from each other. So instead of the boost pressure compressing the two halves and moving the rod upward, it was separating them and pushing the lower half down. So it was actually restricting fuel once I had boost!
