Yep, that is what I was thinking of. NCC makes a multitude of timers. Have a look on the McMaster Carr web site.

My 97 C280 has a fixed delay position and no rain sensor. Perhaps an older system can be retro fitted. Making the sensor change using STAR would be more direct though.
