There's a lot of DIY's on the internet on here outside of the forum (There may be one on here as well, haven't seen it though). Not difficult and a shop will charge an arm and a leg. My turbo was using a lot of oil on my 98 and without prior knowledge, just found a guide on line, followed procedure and did it myself with the tools in my garage on my kitchen table. Car runs like a sewing machine with no oil usage.

Midwest turbo is who sent me my rebuild kit that worked perfectly. If you do, they're a good company to do it.
