Have you unscrewed the R134 adapter yet? On my 85, when I unscrewed the 134 adapter, the R12 core was still there (134 core pushed on the 12 core). If so, take out the R12 core, go to Napa and match one up. If the R12 core is not there, ask for a standard core. Shouldn't be more than a buck or 2. You don't need a $45 kit.
