Yea, an 05 Mercedes....I consider new or more precisely...technologically modern...because it has all of the tech stuff that people seem to not be able to live without nowadays.

Any car that has to be plugged up with a code reader is new(ish) to me.
Any car that is completely dependent on the going through the error codes to fix it, are "too new" for me.
There are cars where you can get a battery warning light. ...You then put a new battery in....and you CANNOT turn on the car until that code is cleared out. And if you don't have a computer code scanner to erase that code after fixing the issue you are basically SCREWED..No...matter of fact I'm pretty sure ONLY the dealer can erase the codes...It's the brand spanking new BMWs that do this crap.

Essentially you're FORCED to go to the dealer instead of doing your own work.
