I had the rubber in the door strikers fall apart.
I replaced a front and rear with EURO door strikers. The fit was not the same as both of the originals had a shim under them. The EUROs work one of them rather stiffly without the shims.
They have been on the car less then one year with no issues except the one door needs to be well slammed to make sure it shuts. I did not take the time to see if there was more adjustments I could do on it.
In the pic the area outlined in red is extremely important because that is what pushes the latch up to latch the door.
