That car is a legend. Your manifolds look nice. I just got done installing non-EGR manifolds myself. The factory air cleaner has been driving me crazy, but I'm almost done with my custom unbreakable air cleaner mounts. The previous owner had a custom "hot air intake" system. Basically, it was a cone filter attached directly to the turbo and it melted from the heat.
The battery location in the W116 is kind of annoying as it makes it so you really can't fit an airbox like you can in a W123 or W126.
