I was told by the dealer that the bumper had to be removed when I had to replace my front bumper strip.

But the strip is only held on by small clips, and once you get the temp sensor and license plate mount out of the way, you can pry one of the ends off the bumper with a flat blade screwdriver. Grab that end by the hand and YANK!

The remainder of the strip will come right off cleanly! That will save you an afternoon of work!

Reinstallation is simple because the new strip will just snap into place where the old strip formerly resided.

Total time: 1 hour!
