83 300D trying to remove the alternator belt so I can put two new ones in. In the back of the alternator I found a bolt on the pivot point, near the A/C line, loosened that OK. The workmanual CD shows two others to be loosened. Are the the two virtually impossible to reach nuts on the alt bracket? I can get a 17MM wrench on the front bolt but not on the one near the engine. Also the adjuster, clockwise to loosen ??
Guidance greatly appreciated. Thought this one would be easy.
