83 300D trying to remove the alternator belt so I can put two new ones in. In the back of the alternator I found a bolt on the pivot point, near the A/C line, loosened that OK. The workmanual CD shows two others to be loosened. Are the the two virtually impossible to reach nuts on the alt bracket? I can get a 17MM wrench on the front bolt but not on the one near the engine. Also the adjuster, clockwise to loosen ??
Guidance greatly appreciated. Thought this one would be easy.

Well, I can't seem to figure out this alt belt but it doesn't matter much right now, just realized the wrong belts came in the order. I'm such a dunderhead for not double checking the order. Time to put it all back together :-(
PS, bad order was from Performance Products, not this site. I will re-order from here.
