Any halogen replacement bulb that produces a blue light does so because the bulb has a blue tint applied to it. As soon as any tint is applied to the bulb, light output is reduced. If you have upgraded your headlights with a halogen kit such as the one offered by Hella, then you can install Sylvania bulbs. Just be sure the bulbs aren't tinted, or you might as well be putting blue sunglasses on your headlights.
