Many many times. Lived in the Yukon for some time, and often visited Fairbanks, Haines and Skagway. Hiked and climbed in Denali often.

This summer we're on our way again to Kluane and on to Denali. Greatest hiking on the planet. If you're "allergic" to cold, be aware: snow can come ANY time. Spent more than a couple July mornings digging a tent out of snow. Also, despite the cold, bugs can be bad too. I use a tent in Denali because of both these problems (using a tarp gets old fast in deep snow).

From Hainse Junction in the Yukon to Haines is the Haines Highway. I can't think of any place with more bald eagles if you're an eagle nut.

You can hike out of Kathleen Lake in the Yukon and if you're string enough, end up in Alaska. Lots of slogging though. Better to go onto Denali.
