Thanks for the help. The rest of the service went well. Wetted the electrical connector O-rings and it went in with a strong push. No leaks but could only get the transmission to 60 deg C (ambient temperature is only about 5 C) after a 20 min drive. The oil level was just over half way between the 25C mark and the 80C mark so, by interpolation, the oil level appears reasonably correct. I'll check the transmission when it warms outside a bit more.
