I went to se a 99 E300 yesterday it looks good the seller has the service record since it was new but there’s no record of the transmission ever been serviced the seller told me that the shop doing the maintenance told him that it’s a seal transmission I don’t believe it is a sealed transmission the car has 250,500 miles on it I know the engine it’s good for another 100 K miles but I’m worry about the transmission he wants $2900,00 for the car I offered $2500,00. What do you guys think ?
