I'm sure this info is buried in one of the many oil cooler seal threads...

Is there an OM642 production date after which different seals were used by MB such that the seals are not likely to fail? Or are all OM642 seals subject to the same failure?

Reason I ask is that there's a 2009 for sale near me with a production date of June 2008.
