When an incoming hurricane is announced, Floridians move quickly to clean out grocery store shelves. Hard to buy food when the shelves are empty. This same BS happened during Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and several other more recent hurricanes in Houston, Texas.

150mph winds.. 50 foot sea surges. I’d be getting out of there too. Not too many houses or shelters can handle that.
