I buy those little round convex mirrors with the sticky backing...and just affix them onto the bottom furthermost corner of each mirror. You can find them at auto parts stores, and even grocery stores.

I have a pair on each of my MBs and I feel much more confident about what is around me when on the highway, and needing to change lanes.

I have seen the "autobahn"-type mirrors and some larger versions of the round ones, but I find them intrusive visually and aesthetically.

The round ones are cheap and effective.
