neumann, I purchased an extended warranty for my 1993 400 SEL from
www.Warrantywizard.com for 24 months, 24,000 miles for just over $1000 and no deductible. Check out their web site and get a quote. I have used them once for new motor mounts and was very satisfied. The local Mercedes dealer did the work.
