extended warranties...Auto Warranty America...any dealings with them?

http://www.autowarrantyamerica.com/

I am looking at an extended warranty and would like some comments about this company. Btw, I asked the salesperson if I called a Mercedes dealer or independent shop would they know who your comapny was...she said sure and if they don't then tell them our "administrators" are Phoenix American and Warrentech. Does that info help at all?

Can anyone refer another company or warnings about a company?

94 e320 with about 75K miles, 2nd owner

I found a local used MB and BMW dealer that would sell a warranty at cost +$50. They are in business to sell cars, not warranties. What I had been considering cost over $2k ended up around $900. See if you can find a similar deal in FL.

I found out that Warrantech or Phoenix American would be paying claims with this warranty not Auto Warranty America. AWA is just the seller of the policy, but they will get involved if something goes wrong. Their secondary insurer is Nationwide Insurance Co.

neumann, I purchased an extended warranty for my 1993 400 SEL from www.Warrantywizard.com for 24 months, 24,000 miles for just over $1000 and no deductible. Check out their web site and get a quote. I have used them once for new motor mounts and was very satisfied. The local Mercedes dealer did the work.
