Not sure which car you have. I have a W124 and many say that the best spring "update" - probably for lowering - is the MB Sportline springs, with the appropriate dampers. The springs set me back about 120€ each so not cheap. The Sachs Sportline dampers were very reasonable at just over 300€ for all 4.
All well for the moment after a very pleasant, 450 km drive to Paris yesterday.
