Center the steering wheel perfectly and tie it in place temporarily. Center the steering box by turning it all the way one way, count the turns and come back exactly half way to dead center. Paint some reference marks for future. Couple the column to box. Couple the box to the steering linkage.

Set the toe adjustment. Once the toe is set the tie rods should be very similar in length with sufficient threads well into each adjusting sleeve. Each adjusting sleeve should have the same amount of thread into it from its respective inner and outer tie rods.

There may also be a factory locking/centering feature on the box, to determine that you'll need to refer to a factory manual.

Upon completion re-check all fasteners for tightness.
