BIGRED

Mine let go while my daughter was coming home from a movie with our "79' 240d. It had only 3 bolt holes in the pulley to begin with so I rotated the pulley to aline it with 3 "new " holes in the balancer. My '79' was designed with 3 bolts. The "80" I just put together was like yours, 6 bolts so that would indicate you might have a chance to go 50 miles with 4, but I gota go with TXBILL and suggest you dont.
