The pilots get credit on this one IMHO. I think what both pilots had to work with was the massive amount of power under their throttles.

Very insightful. I bet when the NTSB looks into (I think that's who will look into it) they will come up with pretty much the same thing: A disaster that was avoided by pilots who knew what had to be done.
