Thought this got answered earlier.
You need to run the vacuum from a carb base fitting - you can use a "Y" if you don't have a spare one. Use a nice tight-fitting hose. That's it.
Then you need to adust the gap between the actuator bolt and the throttle arm using the in-out of the bolt by trial and error so that you get the right RPM increase when the AC comes on.
