i dont know if you guys understand the UK license (sp?

) plate system:-
the first or last letter:-
X 123 ABC (X)
ABC 123 X (X)
Is the year - so my 1996 is a P pre-fix P779 KLS
the rest of the numbers and letters are essentially random, but certain letter combinations are assigned to areas - CLX is london for example..
we dont have any system to randomly choose a numberplate as some states appear to have - so CL 420 MB is not a valid plate.. IYSWIM...
so....
lesson over - I have a rather limited choice on numbers for my car - I can only choose OLDER plates than my car is - i.e. P (1996) N (1995) etc etc (missing I Z O Q reg's for various reasons..
I have settled on these as an idea - by modifying the A to make a 4 with the (illegal..

) addition of a couple of 'wrong colour' bolts
which do you think is best?
oh - and have a look here for ideas / prices / legalities

and I dont want my name on the plate - I hate that
