Tom, I feel for you. I chipped a front tooth one time working under a Rabbit diesel pickup. I was pulling the exhaust manifold off and it suddenly let go and I got the exhaust pipe stud directly in the mouth. Not exactly life threatening, but still the most horrible feeling. Some of my best injuries were from working on cars.... BTW, dentist made tooth look good as new and that was over 10 years ago and still looks fine.
