THe old oil pan bolt for the 601's used the smaller one.

After a tow rod fell off a city of chicago tow truck and took out my oil pan (i turned the car off immediately and no dmage occurred -- it was about 9 years ago), I put on a new 601 oil pan. THe drain plug for the new oil pan uses the larger washer.

On the 601's (at least the early ones) the oil filter stem is one piece with the cover.
