What is UP with these weirdly arranged threads?!?!

Still have mine. I've heard a rumor that they actually serve a purpose for the immune system. Funny how MDs are so quick to say "Well, I don't know what it does, let's take it out and throw it away!"

I also have my spleen and my appendix.

But, have had some really horrible medical experiences in my life, most before the age of 14.

My theory on keeping healthy is to stay out of a doctor's office, and if I have to go in, go armed to the teeth with medical references on just about everything that can possibly fit my symptoms and question EVERYthing and demand clear and complete explanations. Yeah, my doc loves me. But, hey, I'm hiring the doc. Not the other way around. I don't have to do what I'm told.

(Can you tell I felt really pissed off at doctors when I was a kid?)

Anyhow, when MDs use the phrase "life saving" about something, I immediately replace that with "life extending". No one here is immortal. Oops, except maybe SPOCK. Or is Bard II?
