The one you want would be the same for the spin-on filters like the M103 and 85 and newer M102 (the 102 when they got the spin-on filters), and the M104.
There is a BMW filter tool that I find easier to use than the MB one, it's used for BMW "K bikes". It's a little nicer because it has the 3/8" square drive hole in the center, the MB tool doesn't, you have to use an socket to use it. But if you're already set up to do the M102/103/104, you are ready to go.
