I get that because of Mercedes confusing designations. This E300TD stands for turbo diesel which they offered in 1998 and 1999.
If any one has any questions on the fuel filter/Diesel Purge DIY job, I would be glad to try and offer any help. The worry about doing the job right was much worse than the job itself.
