I have been a customer of ATT Wireless for four years and am happy with their service. I did the same thing when the number portability law became effective, and went out shopping around. I called ATT and told them my intention, this is what they did for me: increase my prime time minutes for an additional 300 minutes and a new phone. All the same price with nation wide no roaming service.

One thing I like about ATT Wireless as oppose to other carriers is that once you have the signal, your call will never drop. Whereas other carriers will drop your call when the signal becomes weak or the channel is too congested. On the flip side, you have to get a signal first from ATT. With that said, I have not had any experience not getting a signal from ATT. And I travel all over the country.
