Thanks for the reply. I live in Guatemala and I basically guarantee you that since the antenna was not working that they did not bother connecting the radio/antenna correctly. I was jsut wnated to make certain that all the power to the antenna was through the radio and that the height adjustment only worked when properly connected. I guess I am off to the radio installation store.
