If you look at the text of what you're quoting once the "reply" page appears, you'll see html code inserted at the beginning and end of the quote that tells the message board server how to format the quoted text. The word QUOTE in the [ ] brackets starts the quote, and the word /QUOTE in the [ ] brackets ends it (I broke it up so I don't end up quoting part of my own post within my own post--confused yet?

), so you can cut and paste these bits of html code and use them to insert multiple quotes, or to break up a long quote into sections you want to respond to individually. You'll also notice similar code that sets up bold text: [B], or italics: [i], etc...
