I just had this same stinkin problem. Almost froze to death getting home.

Great advice on the forum in this order:

1. Try the switch first. This can be done in one of two ways:

a. Pop the panel off the door and put your voltmeter on the two bolts where the wires attach to the window motor. With your key on, see if the up switch sends power and then try the down switch. On my car, only the down switch supplied power (indicated by the volt meter). This pointed right away to a problem with the switch.

b. Just swap out another switch on the console. This one is actually easier as you don't need to pop off the door cover.

2. If its the motor, search..... (i found tons of stuff but don't remember it cuz my problem was easy)
