Isn't a photograph of me my personal property ? No one can use it without my permission, right? Well, a former acquaintance from the bicycling club who I haven't even seen in like 2 years has been using my picture on the internet, sending it to people and saying it's a picture of him. Isn't this illegal? What can I do?

My sister's friend told me about this last March but I didn't believe her, then someone else told my sister that he was in one of the Connecticut chat rooms sending my picture out. Now I know for sure and feel pretty powerless. I called his cell number and left a message, but haven't heard from him yet.
