Sorry to hear of your situation. I have used one of the vendors on the list mentioned in Jay's post above, their name is Atlanta Stuttgart. I bought an engine for my 1983 240d from Atl. Stuttgart back in 1994, this engine is still in excellent shape and running strong today. These are good honest people, and they ship parts nationwide.
