What I'm trying to avoid is putting the car back together to find out there is still a leak. So you're saying that I can test for that by pulling a vacuum (once the AC system is mechanically complete) - right?

Then I need to reassemble the rest of the car to run the engine and have the AC working so that I can refill it with freon - right?
