The sway bar itself is rust free. I checked becasue I have seen a few with broken sway bars going cheap. It is mainly the rights side that is rusted. The body is rusted there also, only in the area right around the bracket. When we put a breaker bar on it, the whole mount started to turn a little bit, so we decided that it was too rusted to bother with. The rust is the main reason we want ot get rid of the POS. That rust is the main part of it. THere are 3 very small bubbles on the left rear fender well and the front bumper cover has the usual rust on it. That's it, but the rust by the sway bar brackets spells for future disaster.
Yesterday we got the left side bracket off and am going to just reuse the existing bushing since neither of us feel like going through the hold process of somehow getting a bushing on. Besides, it wouldn't be right to just do one side's bushing. So, does anyone need 2 sway bar bushings and 1 sway bar bracket?
Thanks
David
