A diesel board I frequent tested a fairly sophisticated water injection system a few years back. It consisted of a Shurflo water pump, Hobbs switches to activate system, NOS nozzles to fog the water in pre-turbo and big, like 12 gallon tanks that were bed mounted in the test truck. The end result was that it didn't seem to make any difference in the EGT's or power levels. That and it used a lot of water if driven under load for long periods of time. Unless you are running more fuel and boost than stock why do you need to cool things down? Heat=power-up to a point when things start melting. I'm not a naysayer when it comes to changing things but understanding why you need to change things is important too. RT
