You shouldn't be able to overfill your tank. There is an expansion tank in the car to allow for fuel expansion due to heat. Are you sure you fuel cap doesn't leak? Maybe it needs a new gasket.

Why don't you filter the Bio before you put it in the tank? filters are available from Greasel.com.
