Fuel leak while turning left

ok 1st post...I searched but didn't really find anything.

I'm suspecting I overfilled my tank, but I couldn't really see in far enough to tell and I was filling it with WVO so I didn't have the pump to tell me if I'm full. My guage says I'm less than 3/4 of a tank, but I think it's wrong.

Basically if I take a left turn fast, fuel comes out of the hose which is located just below the filler neck. The hole for the hose is JUST under the gas cap, so the only way fuel could get there is if I over filler my tank. Shouldn't the cap keep the fuel from leaking out, or is there another way for fuel to get into this hose?

Also, I have this dinky fuel filter and I was wondering if anyone know's where I can get a big fuel filter for running this WVO, sometimes it's not filtered all that well and I've been having to clean it out (basically take it off and knock all the crap out of it) about once per tank, but sometimes if I don't let the bad stuff settle out enough or if it's just not as clean as I thought it could be upwards of once every 10 miles or so. I need one like WAY bigger. Thanks.

Cannon,

You shouldn't be able to overfill your tank. There is an expansion tank in the car to allow for fuel expansion due to heat. Are you sure you fuel cap doesn't leak? Maybe it needs a new gasket.

Why don't you filter the Bio before you put it in the tank? filters are available from Greasel.com.

ohh I could do that. I've been pretty much avoiding spending money on the car, it was $300 and getting fuel for free has been awesome. I might do that now, I got a better job for the summer and some extra money.

I am often shocked at how cheap filters go for on Ebay.
But if you get one from the great SVO suppliers, you will get a tried and true, well tested filter, plus tech support.
Google search for: Neoteric Biofuels, Greasel, Greasecar, Dana Linscott to name a few.
