Totally good idea... I've found a place in Hayward that claims to work on Ray-Jay TC's... cool! We'll see what they say. I got the TC off and found oil in both the intake and exhaust sides. I took it all apart, too, for grins. There's no discernable play in the shaft.

When I ran the car under scrutiny, before I removed the TC, oil would begin to drip from the TC-Exhaust pipe union almost immediately. I cleaned the whole area and found no trails... it came right from that joint. Not a very good seal, obviously. Hard to get at those bolts. Anyway. Any other reason, save seals, that I'd have oil in both sides of the TC? Thanks all!
