Okay, door panel is OFF. I have disconnected the window frame from the regulator, loosened all the nuts and bolts holding the motor, and all the ones holding the reg to the motor -- or have I?

I cannot get the upper shaft that holds the reg to the motor to come out of it's bushing. Took the snapring off two hours ago, and have used penetrant, elbow grease, and every cussword in my vast cussword vocabulary. All to no avail; that shaft seems to be frozen into the bushing. I need an idea and quick.

Next question, while I'm on the subject: What is holding the motor from coming free? As I said, all nuts and bolts are off the motor, but something seems to be holding it on the doorcheck strap end of the door.

Current status is that most of the bleeding in my knuckles has subsided, the aloe that I have slathered on my bites from the humongous red ants that made it up my pants leg is having the desired cooling effect, but my bp is just below stroke-level. HELP!
